What young boy hasn’t grown up dreaming of one day being James Bond: the coolest, grittiest secret agent of the them all? In every film he saves the world from a dangerous villain, gets the beautiful girl and never messes his hair up once.
Samson was a bible character who was so Bondlike in his attitude and lifestyle that he could have been another Ian Fleming creation. He had the strength and ripped muscles every man envies but a character so weak it eventually became his downfall.
Finally, Samson gets a second chance.
Up until now we’ve been making ‘notes to self’ about not doing as Samson does. But at the end of his life he finds himself ‘falling forward’ and leaning into the God he’s walked away from.
And God remembers him…
