Love is…Enduring (The ‘going grey together’ years)

Steve Fenning

The statistics make grim reading. – Only 1 in 3 marriages make it to the 25 year mark. We are now heading towards a 50% divorce rate in the UK. There are 3 ‘crunch’ points in every marriage where we have to make some changes if we are going to survive. And funnily enough they are also the years in which most divorces take place – year 2, year 7 and when the kids leave home.

Is there such a thing as Mr or Mrs right? How can we set the right expectations in the ‘newly wed’ years. Is it possible to make the same intensity last for a lifetime? How can we keep love alive?
