Twitter has become so popular because you only have 140 characters in which to “tweet” what you want to say. You have to keep your message short and make it memorable. Nobody did that better than Jesus. Some of the most profound, life changing things Jesus said were 140 characters or less. In this series we are going to download some first century ‘Jesus tweets.’ This week Jesus ‘tweets’ to @ParalyticMan ‘Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!
What’s your story?
I’m betting this fella kept his mat somewhere safe after his encounter with Jesus. Sure, he didn’t need it anymore but this man’s mat was his story. And he didn’t care who knew.
