Diamonds in The Dust…
As George Snyman stood on top of a rubbish dump watching children scrounge for food, he felt God promise him that one day he would find ‘diamonds in the dust’ – ordinary people working together to reach the most vulnerable children in Africa.
Its a beautiful phrase that has become the driving force behind the story of ‘Hands At Work,’ the organisation he and his wife Carolyn founded following that rubbish dump experience ten years ago. The ‘Hands’ story has become part of our story at Forge over the past five years.
This morning George is here in Suffolk… and the ‘diamonds in the dust’ story continues.
