Big 'Buts' of the Bible - Divorce

Big buts … this isn’t a fancy Christian weight loss plan. It’s a new way to live.
This simple word ‘but’ is such a small word. However, when Jesus used it, that little word changed everything. In his first major public address he speaks to a large crowd on a mountainside and says,
‘You’ve always heard… culture has always told you… BUT now I’m telling you how it really is…’
It seems that we’ve created a culture where people can discard their marriages like you would a pair of worn out socks. BUT Jesus says there is another way…
And with that one little word Jesus challenges us to live radical new behaviour patterns that just might change your marriage forever.
That’s one BIG but…
